Who Do I Train?
- The healthy fit seniors - this group will have been committed to exercise throughout young adulthood and will continue through advanced age.
- The healthy unfit seniors - this group will be those who have exercised sporadically throughout young adulthood, but who never committed to a regular schedule of exercise.
- The physically restricted seniors - this group includes those who have experienced some type of illness or injury that has significantly diminished their physical function, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, and muscle and joint disfunction.
What Kind of Programs Do I Offer?
- My programs are tailor made to the individual and to his/her requirements and aspirations, with safety as the highest priority.
What Is The Session Format?
- My basic format is of 60 to 90 minute duration with 10 to 20 minutes of warm-up, 20-45 minutes of aerobics/strength training, and 15 to 20 minutes of cool-down and stretching.
At What Intensity Level Do I Train?
- The intensity level will be determined after having completed a health and fitness assessment and, when necessary, in consultation with the attending physician,chiropractor, and/or the physical therapist.
Where Does The Training Take Place?
- At your home
- At a location of your choosing
- At your gym(if permitted)
- At my choice of gym
What Special Services Do I Provide?
- For those of you who do not drive, I will pick you up and drive you to and from the training location at no extra charge.
What Do I Charge?
- I charge a minimum of $50.00 per session.
- Package pricing will also be offered. Details to come soon!
What To Expect Prior To The Start Of A Program
- A consultation and health appraisal
- Discuss your fitness goals and aspirations
- Agree on a fee
- Sign a personal training agreement
- Complete applicable legal forms
- Get to know each other and establish a rapport
- Undergo a full fitness assessment
